Analysis of the Trade Impact of the VPA for Indonesia
In cooperation with the Directorate General of Forest Products Management of the Ministry of Forestry (BPK), the EC-Indonesia FLEGT Support Project has contracted a study on the expected impact of the VPA. This study is an important step in the VPA process as it provides elements of replies to many questions raised by forestry stakeholders in Indonesia since the VPA consultation phase. |

Trial Implementation of On-line System on Timber Administration and Payment of Forest Levies/ Reforestation Funds (PSDH/DR) is Supported by EC-Indonesia FLEGT Support Project
Directorate of Forestry Levies and Distribution of Forest Products, Ministry of Forestry, has started field tests on an online system for timber administration (known as the Timber Traceability System) which includes online report on payment of forest levies and reforestation funds. The system is tested in twenty six (26) forest concessions (IUPHHK) in State Forests and nineteen (19) primary forest product industries. |
