JOINT PRESS RELEASE
The third Technical Working Group for the negotiation of a Voluntary Partnership Agreement(VPA) on Forest Enforcement, Governance and Trade(FLEGT) between Indonesia and the European Union was held in Jakarta on 1 and 2 March, 2010.

For the fifth year, FLEGT annual coordination meeting was held in Brussels on 19 and 20 November 2009.
Save The Forest, Save The World
The first Indogreen Forestry Expo was organized by the Ministry of Forestry, 14-17 April 2009, at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
Some of the highlights included among others exhibitions in 54 booths, distribution of hundreds of trees among visitors, drawing competition for high school students, and talk shows.
EC-Indonesia FLEGT Support Project took part in the event that is planned to be an annual agenda of the Ministry. Also co-participating in the EC-Indonesia FLEGT Support Project booth, other European Union’s projects namely Orangutan Foundation, with Yayasan Orangutan Indonesia, and ICRAF.
